Rehabilitation at Home
“Rehabilitation at Home” bases treatment around the four-part
recommendations of The American Orthopedic Therapy Association.
Treatment programs are customized to improve patient ability to perform
daily activities. Comprehensive home and job site evaluations are made to
spotlight-and-fix trouble areas in order to prevent falls and accidents that
can occur during routine activities. Performance skills assessments and
treatments are made, adaptive equipment recommended and usage training
given. ViaLife even helps patients find equipment covered by their
insurance. A spectacular training program, nurses teach family members how
to support their loved one in the home. ViaLife’s goal is to return patients
to independent living, especially after total hip or knee arthroplasty.
Occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech therapists are here
when people need them. Progress or problems are reported to the MD weekly
via email or fax.
