“I’ve been nursing for 22 years
with 15 years as a Home Health Director and I have seen remarkable
improvements in the health of my patients through professional and
compassionate care. Beyond continued medical training and professionalism,
that’s what makes a difference in this industry – treating people with
compassion and dignity” says Patricia Webster, BSN/RN, ViaLife Director of
Nursing. She continued, “Each one of us at ViaLife Home Health Care is
dedicated to caring for each patient as if they were our own family.” Mike
Webster, CEO of ViaLife, adds “We’re excited about making a difference in
our community. There are many people and families who need a Home Health
Care company that will treat them kindly and help them pay for medical
services.” ViaLife Home Health Care services are covered 100% for people
insured by Medicare and Medicaid. ViaLife helps people having private
insurance by researching their coverage for them and processing all claims.
“Skilled nursing is a
competitive field. Physicians can confidently recommend ViaLife Home Health
Care to their patients based on our level of expertise, experience with
home-bound patients and continuing education” asserts Patricia Webster.
“Equally important, I’ve selected my nurses based on their personal ability
to teach patients and the patient’s family with patience in an
easy-to-understand, practical way” says Patricia “so patients learn how to
control their condition, avoid causing complications, and so they know how
to conduct themselves in an emergency.” ViaLife’s nursing staff are BSN
nurses, certified for wound vac therapy. They receive ongoing
training/seminars in home health and coding.
Nurses remain on-call 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week to respond to patient needs. Regular visits are made
Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with earlier or later visits that can be
arranged to meet patient needs. Essential nursing visits are provided even
on holidays and weekends.
ViaLife takes advantage of
technology to keep physicians updated in a superior way – clearly,
concisely. This includes weekly digital photos taken of wounds and weekly
patient reports faxed or emailed to physicians. Immediate reports are made
to physicians under urgent circumstances. Internally, monthly case
conferences are made on all patients. ViaLife upholds that better
interdisciplinary communication equals better patient care.
